This model also generates very high levels of trivalent oxygen (ozone) which is exported from the device to decontaminate organic malodor molecules on contaminated surfaces in the room or vehicle being treated. Unlike other decontaminating methods, the agents in the Eradication Plasma, and the exported gaseous ozone, are created from natural elements in the air entering the device. They rapidly decay back to those harmless elements when their job is done, posing no environmental hazards and allowing for an almost immediate re-entry into the treatment area.
Gaseous ozone has recently been discovered to be highly effective in killing the hard to treat, drug-resistant, MRSA pathogen. (See article here.)
MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) are isolates of the bacterium that have acquired genes encoding antibiotic resistance to all penicillins, including methicillin and other narrow-spectrum ß-lactamase-resistant penicillin antibiotics. MRSA is commonly called a superbug, and is now widespread in the hospital setting. According to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, 5% of the 368,600 patients who were treated for MRSA in U.S. hospitals during 2005 died. Community-acquired MRSA strains have also appeared in recent years, particularly in schools in the
This restoration device is portable, standing naturally upright 52 inches high, weighing 37 pounds. The controls and lift handle are on the rear. It has a 12 hour adjustable, walk away self-timer and operates on 120 volts AC, 60 hz of electrical power. The model displays a new machined top cap that withstands the higher output levels. The outer cover has a bright and tough baked polyester powder-coated finish. Internal components are now shock mounted to improve field ruggedness.

The unit does not use the corona discharge technique which ozone generators use. Therefore, it does not produce the toxic, metallic smelling Nitric Oxide and corrosive Nitric Acid that are unavoidable by-products of such ozone machines. Typical ozone machines attempt to minimize their production of those contaminants by carefully drying the air entering them. The BioTower has no such limitation and works even better in higher humidity applications. Water molecules are one of the natural elements it uses to create the Eradication Plasma.
This product has been sold broadly throughout the
Most of the energy consumed by the device goes toward creating the intense Eradication Plasma within it that eradicates organic contaminants suspended in the air passing through it. The half-lives of those decontaminating agents are very short so they expire within the reactor chamber without leaving it. However, this model also produces very high levels of trivalent oxygen (ozone) that eradicate contaminants on surfaces in the immediate area outside the device, then decaying back to natural elements in about an hour after machine power-down. The BioTower output of ozone alone dramatically exceeds the levels of ozone generators on the market, (while the BioTower does not produce the corrosive nitric acid by-product which such devices also export).
The BioTower 701-O3 is designed to produce a continuous ozone output concentration of 44 ppm at a 4 inch diameter flow rate of 1100 fpm with the filter configuration offered. With other filter configurations it will deliver up to 102 ppm at slower flow rates. See table of ozone output comparisons below. The product brochure can also be downloaded here.

BioBox– [On-Line Purchasing] BioBoxTM dismantles airborne organic matter passing through its reactor chamber while exporting high concentration ozone gas for surfaces, treating both contaminated air and contaminated surfaces. It is approximately 2/3rds as powerful as the BioTower, making it a powerful, compact and portable decontamination unit. This advanced technology, high intensity chamber eliminates virtually all airborne organic matter passing through it including circulating bacteria, virus, mold, and spores, industrial & consumer odors, allergens, and VOC’s. A high flux UV energy field inside the reactor chamber converts ambient water vapor into hydroxyl radicals and converts molecular oxygen into ozone. These agents dismantle suspended organic matter and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), including malodors, into harmless protein fragments. Effective against smoke, fire, and water damage, malodors, and mold-mildew cleanup, the BioBoxTM is ideally suited for disaster recovery applications in close quarters. It produces over 12,000 mg per hour of decontaminating ozone gas without generating any harmful nitric oxides or nitric acid. It may be used in high or low humidity environments without the need of air drying. The unit is self cooling with a rugged impeller (not fan) and a flow rate of 109 cu ft per minute. It can turn over an 800 sq ft room’s air every hour. The inlet port has a removable, washable coarse-filter that separates suspended dust and dirt from the air flow. The outflow port is fitted for optional attachment of a 4 inch flexible hose. The unit is durable with a contaminant-resistant extruded aluminum case. Interior components are shock-mount fitted, protecting them from rough field handling. The control panel has a 12 hour power timer plus hold position, operating on 120 VAC, 60 hz with a 10 amp fuse. The control panel also includes a job-hours LCD meter and on-light indicator. The unit is 26” X 6 5/8” X 8 1/4”, weighing 23 lbs. Its lift handle makes it easy to move around. There are four neoprene feet to avoid marring treatment surfaces. The product brochure can also be downloaded here.
Restore 30X– [On-Line Purchasing]
This product is a transportable, high ozone output system used to restore large facilities that have been damaged by fire and smoke odor or pathogen contamination. The system produces 30,000 mg of ozone per hour using ambient air outside the area being treated. The high concentration ozone is pumped into the treatment area using teflon lined polyethylene tubing designed for this purpose.
The interconnected modules operate on 120 volts AC, 60 hz of electrical power. Both modules are self-cooling and may be run continuously for long project hours. The system is delivered with 100 feet of tubing and a multiple outlet manifold that permits simultaneous treatment of up to nine rooms. The modules are installed in hermetically sealed, waterproof, military style heavy duty transport cases for easy air transport to disaster recovery sites.
This product can be highly effective in remediating large area MRSA contamination. Gaseous ozone has recently been discovered to be highly effective in killing the hard to treat, drug-resistant, MRSA pathogen. (See article here.)
MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) are isolates of the bacterium that are drug resistant to conventional antibiotics, making it particularly difficult to treat and dangerous.

The air handler in this Large Room Eraldehyde Kit has a space-saving slim-line styling that fits flush against the wall, so it won’t encroach on living areas or interfere with household or work activities.
It has three speeds, a whisper-quiet fan, a digital LCD filter change indicator, an ionizer with separate on/off switch, and comes with a five year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
This purifier will change the room nearly 14 times per hour in a typical FEMA tavel trailer (40 cubic meters, 1,400 cubic feet). It is powerful enough to handle RV's, much larger travel trailers, and other types of vehicles.
The unit weighs 17 pounds and is 20.3”(H) X 16.3”(W) X 9.3” (D). It runs on 120 volts, AC, 60 hz.
The kit includes a patented, ChromAir formaldehyde level badge (at lower left) that allows the user to measure a suspected room formaldehyde contamination level. (See below)
The high contamination formaldehyde reduction test results shown below (in parts-per-million, which is parts-per-1000 billion) were performed in a one cubic meter test chamber on the Eraldehyde kit shown above. The control level in the chart shows that a one-time charge of formaldehyde decays very gradually without Eraldehyde eradication. When formaldehyde is continuously outgassing in the living or working environment, health is badly threatened, even at levels 60 times lower than these tests.

In 2008 after FEMA found post-Katrina Hurricane formaldehyde contamination levels in their travel trailers as high as 590 parts per billion (ppb), FEMA set a new standard of 16 parts ppb for new emergency housing. (The OSHA exposure limit is 750 ppb.) CDC and NASA have tested Eraldehyde and found it to be safe and effective, to a mean concentration of 23 ppb, even though they ran it constantly for 12 weeks, which is not necessary for normal use. (An hour or two per day should be sufficient.) CDC-NASA tests were performed on the Cavelier model of the Gulfstream Coach travel trailer which was built to FEMA specifications. Read CDC-NASA test report from their website. (It is a large file.)
Eraldehyde filters are constructed from HEPA-type material. Therefore, they are very effective in also removing fungus, bacteria, and allergens from the air being breathed. The filter in this Large Room kit removes 99.97% of all airborne particles greater than 0.1 microns in size. In the front filter section is a washable, activated carbon pre-filter panel that helps remove some common household odors as well. Although the filter is primarily designed to eliminate formaldehyde fumes, it also has a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 260 for tobacco smoke, dust, and pollen.
Mold growth damage often occurs in rooms, RV’s, and travel trailers that have formaldehyde contamination. Formaldehyde causes the suffering human occupants to abandon the premises, leading to uncorrected water incursion problems that in turn cause mold damage. Despite their ability to capture airborne particles, normal HEPA filters can still grow mold on the filter material in such high humidity conditions, leading to other problems.
Eraldehyde filters don’t just trap the resulting mold spores that would otherwise be circulated. They also KILL fungus mold and spores that they trap, preventing mold growth on the filter while preventing spore transmission into the room. The Eraldehyde test results below show that no viable Aspergillus Niger fungus spores were left on the Eraldehyde HEPA-like filter material shown on the left; but mold grew on the conventional, unprotected HEPA-like filter material on the right.

The Large Room Eraldehyde kit also includes a patented, ChromAir formaldehyde level badge that allows the occupant to measure his level of room formaldehyde contamination in a 15 minute to one hour exposure time, should he want to test it.
